According to different temperatures, how many types can high-temperature bearings be sort?
- High-temperature resistance of ordinary bearing steel: 150 - 200°C (its structure is full of rolling elements)
- High-temperature alloy steel: 300 - 500°C (its structure includes two types: with cage and full of rolling elements)
- Silicon nitride ceramic rolling elements: 800 - 1200°C (its structure is full of rolling elements)
If your operating environment does not exceed 500°C, the second material can be adopted. The selection of high-temperature bearing methods should be based on the actual application environment. For example, in a harsh environment with a high rotational speed, high-temperature bearings with cage, sealing ring, and high-temperature grease must be used.
